Meat Fight, Inc. started in a backyard in Dallas, Texas, in 2010, as a barbecue competition that helped raise funds for Bike MS and the National MS Society. Since that time, Meat Fight, Inc. has become a 501c3 nonprofit and has raised over $2 million for the National MS Society, in addition to creating its own original endurance programs that help people living with MS tackle Bike MS, and a Meat Fight MS Research Endowment to help find a cure with UT Southwestern.
For athletes living with MS, Meat Fight provides the equipment, you provide the grit and determination to take on an epic endurance challenge. From Bike MS to marathons to Ironman events, we're here to support athletes at their next epic finish line. Exercise is proven to help mitigate symptoms and improve quality of life, and we've seen it firsthand with over 300 Meat Fight athletes nationwide.
It's more than just a bike, or a few months of coaching— Meat Fight is creating a community of badasses.
Meat Fight is here to host BBQ-fueled fundraisers that make a tangible, immediate, visible difference in the lives of those living with MS.
How do we do that? By having skydivers drop into our events carrying beef jerky from the sky. By hosting Best Beard competitions. By slingshooting briskets into the sky. By having the most fun we possibly can at every event. It's important. And we call it funlanthropy. Join us at the next party, and we promise you a good, weird time that greatly benefits a cause. Together, we can do big, good things.
